Do I believe that the world is getting better

Well in my opinion I think that the world is it's not. The reason I think
this is because every day more and more people keep on dieing because
some crazy lunatic thinks that it's okay to go around killing people! People
get more and more violent each day. The violence gets worse and worse,
and people aren't doing anything about it and they're not trying to stop
it and they know that they want to but they don't have confidence.

The world can't stop with the violence because they're so use to living
like this that if they stop for one day they'll die which I think is a stupid
reason for stopping violence. There are a ton of examples of why the world
is getting worse. One example that comes to most peoples minds is all of
wars going on right know.

What does it take for the whole world to go to war?Do you believe that the world will ever be at peace?

My personal thought is that it'll take a lot of trash talking about every
country or a big disagreement. This is because if nothing is going on then
how will people want to go to war? If there's no problems then how are
people suppose to have a conflict. They also have to be very mean and
have a ton of fights with each other. People have to be against other
countries or nations.

In my opinion I do think that the world will be at peace at some point.
I think this because I believe that there's some bad and some good people
in this world. People will eventually get along with each other. If people
learn to to get along and stop solving problems with violence then I
know that the world can be at peace. This is what I think will happen.

How does imperialism continue in our day ?

In my opinion imperialism continues in many different ways. An
example that I've mentioned in most of my blog post's is the one of Iraq.
The reason why it's impossible for me to forget this is because it's so common
because there's a war in Iraq right know and a lot of people have family
members over there. It's like really messed up because we're trying to take
over Iraq and lots of people are losing people that they really loved.

We citizens have the power to fight against imperialism. There are tons
of ways and one is we can make petition and have people sign it. There are
plenty more ways that we can fight against imperialism. We can have a protest
and people can here what we have to say because we're kids. This is what I
think that we can do about imperialism.

Do Ibelieve the war in Iraq is an example of imperialism?

In this case I do believe that the war in Iraq is an example of imperialism.
In my opinion I think this because why else would we be in a war with them.
My personal thought is that we're trying to take control over Iraq. This issue
imperialism thing has to stop because it going to make us want more countries,
and sooner or later we're going to have every other state.

In my opinion all we have to do is just leave and leave Iraq alone. What
we can do is stop the war and go back to the state we came from. Figuring things
out with violence is just wrong and unhealthy. Most Americans wish that we
weren't over there because most people have a family member fighting and
they're putting there life at risk. This is what I think that we should do with
Iraq, we should just leave.

What ways did America participate in imperialism?

The way I think that we participated in imperialism is a lot of different
ways but one way is when we went up to the queen of Hawaii and held a gun
up to her head so that we can take over Hawaii. Also we've participated in
many more ways ,but I only thought of that reason. America participated
in more ways and another example is that know Iraq belongs to us.

In my opinion, we're still an imperialism nation but we don't do it
as much. We've improved on stopping but theres much more what we
can do to stop the entire thing. Since the 1900's we've improved a lot.
We still have a lot of power but, have improved. This is what I think.

What the cartoon means to me ?

What the cartoon means to me is the freedom that we have in America.
This is because the things that it has are symbols of freedom here in the U.S.
In my opinion when most people see the designs that the picture has, they
think of freedom. This is because the eagle, the world, and all the other things
that it has we, here in America think of it as symbols of freedom and when we
think of freedom mostly we think about these things.

Another thing that comes to mind is, if America still practices imperialism?
In my opinion I personally think that we do. This is because we took over Iraq
and we wouldn't have gotten it unless we practiced imperialism. Also I think
this because we go and get in wars with other countries. I can't think of any
more reasons of why I think this but this is my opinion about, if America still
practices imperialism.

Why do nations practice imperialims ?

In my opinion nations practice imperialism because they want to
take over other nations. They might practice it for a reason an example of
why is maybe because they want to look more powerful than other nations
or maybe they want to show them that they're better than them. There are a
ton of different reasons for why they practice imperialism but, I think it's
because they want others to be afraid of them so, that if they were thinking
of taking there land they wouldn't do it because others don't want them to
take away there land for what they did to them. These are the reasons why
I think nations practice imperialism.

Imperialism and Colonized Dialogue

Colonized country- " Our country is too small and every day more and
more people move here."
Imperialism country- " So what are you trying to tell us? "
Colonized country- " We're trying to tell you that since your country is
so big, can't you give us some land so, that we can build more homes for the
people can live in? "
Imperialism country- " Haha, that was a funny joke. For a moment I thought
that you were serious. "
Colonized country- " I was. You know if you have all this land and not even
half of it is being used and you don't let us use it, then you're putting people
out on the streets. "
Imperialism country- " Okay you convinced me. I'll use the extra land to help
people."

When is it okay to intervene in another nations business?

I personally think that it's okay when it's not a bad thing. An example of it
being a bad thing is if another nation is going to bomb another nation and you
helped plan that then you probably should have stayed out. Also I think that it's
fine to be a part of an other's nation business is if they ask you for help. It's fine
to be a part of things, only if it not a bad thing.

Racism

In my opinion racism comes from people that don't like other races. This might
be, because maybe they were raised a certain way that when you grow up the only
race you'll like, will be your own. This could spread, a lot of different ways. One
way that this could spread is probably when you grow up you might teach your
kids to only accept your own race. When you spread this, in my opinion it can be
dangerous because the whole world can go against each race.

A way that we can stop it from spreading is by getting along with all different
type of races. There's another way from not spreading it is by not raising your
children hating other races. You can help stop it by making the right choice and
not judging other people just by their appearance. This is what you can do to help
stop racism and to stop spreading it.

Is it our job to make sure other nations are safe?

In my opinion I think that it's not. It's not our job because we're not over
visiting other nations and besides it's not our nation. There are other nations
that are not ours but I think that it might be ours in one way. The way that I
think it's ours is because in my opinion I think that we're the ones that should
be cleaning it and stop littering but other than that I don't think it's ours. Even
if we live here it's not job to make sure that it's a safe country I think that it belongs
to the president. This is my opinion of who the nation belongs to.

My 3 goals for 3rd and 4th quarter

1. I want to get straight A's in all my classes and I'll accomplish this
by studying and paying attention more
2. I want to be a better sister to my little brother by not fighting with him,
sharing and being nice to him
3. I want to be more responsible of cleaning my room and going to the store
to buy my dog some better food that's not hard


I'm going to accomplish all of this even if it's going to be hard because
I have to be more responsible. I know that I'm busy most of the time but I
really want to make a difference in my life at home and school. These goals
are going to be accomplished. I am going to take risk because I really
have to step it up and be responsible. This is what I want to accomplish as my
goals.
